1- Toyota might have improved the response crisis by being open to sharing the automobile statistics boxes. With testing, the crisis would have been categorized as a safety risk with punctual recalls and not labeled a customer satisfaction issue. It clearly was a safety problem since so many incidents occurred. Toyota should have also acknowledged the issue sooner. Acknowledging the issue would have shown the consumers that Toyota was aware of the issue and will find everything in their power to fix it. Toyota’s subsidiaries focused on .

2- Honda motor companies is a close substitute and a competitor or toyota . Recalling of toyota cars would mean loss of confidence of people on motors at first . Then Toyota promised to provide efficient and sound safe vehicles to its customers . This would mean loss of consumer base for Honda .

3- In this article the most important insight is that without proper planning and repetative quality checks if a product is launched then it might cost the company's repuration in many ways . Recalling is a very risky and harmful decision for any company as it causes wastage of resources . so, we should maintaing operations in order to reduce the defects and increase inspects to prevent such kind of incidents.
