In my daily life I use EQ to avoid any conflicting situation at my home, by trying to understand family members problem and what they need. I don't simply ignore their concern nor I start opposing their decision, before knowing the reason and emotional value attached to it. It keeps my every day life simple and easy going. I always stay supportive and communicate the problem with all the members, or the ones who are emotionally affected due to some difficulty and try to understand them, get their facts and information and then take decision.
