The sophistication of IS is not sufficient for the successful IS implementation. Other factors such as managing individuals' and groups' behaviour when adopting IS (uses and resistance), aligning IT with managerial strategy, and legitimating the use of IS among communities and organizations via information difussion are extremely important as well.
