When aspirin get hydrolyzed ,the products are formed that is salicylic acid and ethanoic acid,which is Scientific name of acetic acid.The active ingredient in aspirin is acetyl salicylic acid.When hydrolysis occurs it give two products salicylic acid and acetic acid(ethanoic acid).
