today we can say that history is repeating itsefl. Exact 100 years ago (1918) , spanish flu infected 500 million people and killed around 10-50 million, destroying the global economy. Now , today the whole worold is brought to its knees by the coronavirus ( COVID-19) , china born microbe that inflicts infectious respiratory illness. Now this crisis is declared as Pandemic but still it is early to predict what damage it will cause to the economy of the respective infected countries at the end. An unprecendent lockdown is initiated in almost every country, where virus is spreading at a high speed to avoid community spread, although its too late for some countries like Italy, Iran. This lockdown leads to complete shutdown of all the private and overnment companies, shops, schools , outlets , malls, theaters etc. Only pharmacies and groceries shops are opened in emergency cases (current situation in India).

These kind of protection initiation steps taken by government affected many lives, especially the poor and labors and workers who get their salaries per day for example, delivery workers, drivers, labors as they can do work from home and get paid. Many big manufacturing companies are also facing a big loss as their manufacturing department has been shut down. Social lives of people are also have been affected as the social distancing is seems to be only way now to prevent infection from this virus. United Nations has also predicted that if the situation gets worse then around than 25 million jobs can be lost because companies are getting shut down and if there will be no earning by company then how it will pay their workers.

Although the this crises has already done too much damage to many countries but sill it is still early to predict what will the end result to the global economy.
