(Answer) The Pontiac war was fought during the time of the seven-year war between the French and Indian fur traders who were against the British colonists. The war was fought between tribes form the regions of the Great lakes who were the Algonquian speaking people and people from the Wendat region or Hurons who were the Iroquoian speaking people.
