Explain why the first 2-3 minutes of aerobic (steady-state) exercise feels more difficult than when you are in the middle of the exercise.
Actually when we start the exercise first few minutes(2-5 minutes) is always tough because our muscles did not get the sudden required amount of oxygen. At that time our muscles heavily rely on the 1. ATP-PC and 2. anaerobic glycolysis.
ATP( adenosine triphosphate) and PC (phosphocreatine) are the stored form of energy in our body which is used when body is suddenly in dire need of the energy.
After few minutes when we start getting proper amount of oxygen demand then our body switch to the normal aerobic energy deriving system. So, exercise becomes comfortable.
