Be always attentive to what speaker is saying- Since you are in audience, you need to pay attention what speaker wants to say or what is the context of speaking, so that you are able to know what are the contents and direction of speech. Example: be attentive as what are the new analytics technologies an expert is speaking about in a national conference on Analytics.
2. Be in relaxed form and keep an open mind- sit relax, so that you can feel comfortable in the surroundings and listen and pay attention on speaker’s words by free mind and thinking. Example - Sitting relax in a national conference on Analytics and think about application of analytics in industry.
3. Listen carefully and then try to picture speaker’s contents- in the last after listening carefully, then you should draw your influences and conclusion. Example- how analytics is used or can be used in the healthcare industry in an emerging economy like Africa.
