explain the differences between four types of installation (direct, parallel, single-location, and phased).
Direct Installation: Switching from the old
information system to the new one by turning off the old system
before switching on the new system. Installation is less costly,
very risky and takes a long time.
Parallel installation: Running both the old and
the new information system simultaneously until management decides
to turn off the old system. Almost no risk, but very expensive
because two systems are running at the same time.
Single- location installation: Test out a new
information system at one location and use the feedback to
determine whether and how to deploy the new system across the
enterprise. Limits disruption and site-specific costs.
Phased installation: Moving incrementally from the
old information system to the new one, beginning with one or
several functional components and then slowly extending the
implementation to cover the entire new system. There is a
distribution of risk and costs over time and place.

Explain key differences between olefins, paraffins and aromatics. Explain the types of aromatics. Given the current price of benzene and toluene, would you have hydrodealkylation as part of your petrochemical complex facility ? What feedstock would you prefer to provide for option to operate the hydrodealkylation facility ? Would you operate that facility if you have the option today ? If you are expecting a production of about 200 Tonnes/Year o-xylene facility, what should be the amount of reformate feedstock...

prepare a four minute oral summary which highlights the similarities and differences between different types of cell membrane transport. Your summary should be well organized, and should make sense to somebody who doesn’t have the guiding questions in front of them. In your summary you should address the following questions: What is simple diffusion? What factors determine the amount of solute that can diffuse across a cell membrane? How does facilitated diffusion differ from simple diffusion? What is active transport...
