1. One important factor may be the high cost involved in the entry of such industries.
2. Monoply also arises when one single firm owns the key resource for the production of a specific product.
3. When parents are issues over production of such products.
4. Geographical factors like the non presence of other firms in that specific location.
5. If all the firms of the industry merge or one of them acquires all others then also monopoly is created.
6. When government imposes licensing o we production of such products.
All these factors enable some firms to become monopolists.
