Answer #1

The history of the disability shows that the disable persons are victim of social injustice. They are never provided respect and rights. They do not get government support and family support. Most of the poor family try to get them out from the family as they are supposed to be the burden of the family. In spite of the advancement of the modern civilization, most of the people are unaware of the problem of the disable people. Naturally, the disable people are helpless and neglected. Even they are not provided minimum human rights. Ages after ages such trends continued and people remained blind to the problems of the disable people.

Considering such factors, many conventions were organized in the international level under United Nations Organization. With the views of many experts many steps have been taken and all the nations are advised to follow the rules and regulations to provide the rights of the disable people. In various places movements have been organized with the help of social workers for the rights of the disable people. It is true that the disable people in the wealthy family face least problem. But most of the disable people and children are deprived of the basic rights.

In such scenario it is a great need to introduce rights and facilities to provide the needs of the disable people. They can be trained to do any work fit for them. They can be imparted vocational education. Besides, they face problems in socialization. It increases their problem. Therefore it has been mandatory under the laws of the international human rights to provide all the facilities for the smooth life and rights of the disable people. Special schools should be set up for them. They should be provided all the aids like wheel chair, hearing aids free of cost as most of the disable people do not have economic sufficiency to buy aids.

Along with such provisions, the authority should take steps to make people aware about the causes of disability. They should be trained how society and community can help them to live independently.
