Patients and family members often have complaints of their own while in the hospital. (Grandma has fallen twice now since she has been here! What are you people doing to prevent this from happening again?) What kind of complaints can you expect as manager or administrator and where may you find resources and insights where you work to help you resolve issues and provide solutions?

Patients and family members come up with many complaints and put blame on the hospital for the health of themselves or their family. As a manager it is our responsibility to answer their questions which might include why is it taking so long? Why did they not recover completely? What treatment are you giving when they are facing same issues? etc., We need to help them in clarifying their doubts because they do not have medical knowledge and some might not even understand the problem. We need to help them by directing them to doctors of those cases and make them explain them the seriousness of the illness and what they have been doing as a doctor and how the treatment might effect the patient. We must also be patient with them in answering them and provide a detailed report for their clarifications.
