     a straight line to the east end and then travels in a straight line to the south end at a

     constant speed of 10.5 m/s. At the south end there is a straight road leading to the

     north end. The car starts from rest at the south end following the road and accelerates

     at 0.39 m/s2. (a) How long did it take the car to travel the round trip, i.e. north end

    back to the north end? (b) What was the velocity of the car after traveling halfway on

    the straight road?
