Poka Yoke is a lean tool that is used to manage and control human error in a process.
In most cases, the errors or quality issues that we face in products that we make are due to human error. While there is a machine and process based variation that occurs, we can often control them with statistical approach. Human errors on the other hand provide a very random appearance to their occurrence. Due to this, they tend to be extremely difficult. Thus if we can control human errors in a process, the overall system improves drastically. This is why we can completely agree with the quote.
