Job satisfaction is very important for any employee. It plays important role in engaging the employees to work efficiently and effectively. If the employees are satisfied with their job, they will exhibit high level of performance at work. Employees will be ready to go extra mile to meet and exceed the target. This high level of performance will contribute towards meeting the goals and objectives of the organization.

The three most important factors that make people dissatisfied with their job are: -

  • Ineffective leader - For the success of any team, it is very important to have leader who can motivate the team, support them and guide them towards right direction. Bad leader impacts the team cohesiveness and results in team to fall apart. This make the employees dissatisfied.
  • Weak organizational culture - This make the work environment ineffective and thus impact the behavior of employees.
  • Monotonous work and lack of responsibility make the employees dissatisfied. Employees like to work for the organization where job is challenging and they get opportunities to showcase their skills, knowledge and experience.

A positive workforce culture helps in increasing productivity, job satisfaction to employees and customer satisfaction. It is very important to create a positive culture at workplace.

  • The vision statement of the company should be clear in which can lead to a positive work culture by creating strategies for the betterment of the workplace.
  • Positive attitude of the applicants should be considered while hiring.
  • Creating a two-way communication system and employees engagement.
  • Keeping the employees informed about the daily operations of the company which can help them to stay connected with the company.
  • Rewards and recognition is very important to create a positive environment.

The three most important factors relating to organizational commitment are: -

  • Empowering employees - - Empowerment helps in driving the behavior and attitude of employees, creates positive work environment and helps in increasing employees satisfaction and commitment towards the organization.
  • Building trust - Trust is very important in motivating employees to work collaboratively in order to meet the goal. It is very important for the managers to build trust vertically and horizontally. People like to stay and work in an environment where they can trust the colleagues and trust the leader.
  • Creating positive culture - A positive workforce culture helps in increasing productivity, job satisfaction to employees and customer satisfaction. This include creating a two-way communication system and employees engagement, keeping the employees informed about the daily operations of the company which can help them to stay connected with the company, implementing incentives program, etc.
