The following is a list of the 23 Major League Soccer teams. The teams are identified by numbering them 01 through 23.
A sample of six teams is to be selected to play three games overseas. The teams will be selected by using simple random sampling. Using the following partial random number table below, begin with the number in row 1, column 1 and work across the row from left to right. Once you finish a row, proceed to the row that is directly under it and continue by working from left to right. Use only the first 2 digits of each block. Choose the six teams who will play in the three games overseas.
