Why we will use grid or bucky in Pelvis Xray?
We use grid or bucky in case of Pelvis X-Ray because of the following reasons:
1) It is kept on the opposite side of the patient from the X-Ray tube to reduce the amount of scattered X-rays reaching the X-Ray detector. It means that the grid absorbs the scattered X-Rays.
2) In this way, it helps in improving the quality of diagnosed X-Ray images.
3) Since it increases the resolution of the image, it increases the chance of visibility of soft tissues as well.
Question 2 In the minimum grid-path problem we are given a two-dimensional grid, where each point on the grid has a value, which is a non-negative integer. We have to find a path from the top left corner of the grid to the bottom right corner, where each single step on the path must lead from one grid point to its neighbour to the right or below. The cost of the path is the sum of all values of the...
Why do we have to sometimes recalculate the manufactured per unit (PU) values of model impedances of power transformers in power grid modelling?
Task 3: Grid Graphs and Mazes Part A - Generating Grid Graphs In the lecture we said that we can use Prim's algorithm to create mazes by starting from a regular "grid graph and then finding a spanning tree. Implement a function grid graph (m, n) that takes as input two positive integers, and returns the adjacency matrix of a m by n grid graphie, a graph with ses vertices that, when drawn on a regular m by n grid,...
1) Why do we use charge controllers in a PV system and what are their differences from an inverter? 2)You have a 10kW PV fixed system that is grid connected (no batteries) in Place X and you have a contract with a power company to sell all the produced electricity. What inclination and orientation would you use in order to maximize annual electricity production and why?
Why is it for gamma1, we use v2? Also, vice versa, why do we use v1 for gamma2? Length contraction
If we treat the graticule like an algebraic x,y grid, how would we express the coordinates for 75°S, 50°E?
Using java : In this exercise, you need to implement a class that encapsulate a Grid. A grid is a useful concept in creating board-game applications. Later we will use this class to create a board game. A grid is a two-dimensional matrix (see example below) with the same number of rows and columns. You can create a grid of size 8, for example, it’s an 8x8 grid. There are 64 cells in this grid. A cell in the grid...
