What causes the absolute refractory period and what causes the relative refractory period during an actual potential?

Absolute refractory periods are related to sodium gated channels. When these channels open, sodium rushes into a cell which leads to membrane potential becoming more positive. During this, gated channels first open and after a short time, they become inactive. When we stimulate the axon, we get an action potential and gated channels open and then we cannot stimulate the axon again.

Relative refractory period is cause when voltage-gated potassium channels open and potassium ions rush out of the cell. After this, voltage-gated sodium channels start being reset to their closed state.So, In relative refractory period, gated channels reset and we will need a strong potential to simulate the axon again.
