Solar cell efficiency is  the portion of energy in the form of sunlight that can be converted to electricity. there is   a solar cell that is capable of converting direct sunlight into electricity with 44.5 percent efficiency — making it probabaly ,the most efficient solar cell .Current solar technology only converts electricity with a maximum efficiency of 25 percent.
