Characteristics of a successful advertisement are as follows:-

1. It should be simple,

2. It should be capable of holding the reader's attention,

3. It must be suggestive,

4. It should have conviction value,

5. It should educate people,

6. It should have memorising value,

7. It should be true.

Lets take an example of advertising of Dairy milk chocolate. It is the most successful of their time and increase the profit ofthe company.
