Wilhem Wundt founded the first laboratory in Leipzig Germany in 1879. this gave the rise to psychological experiments where he was able to separate psychology from philosophy by analyzing the mind in a more structured environment. this laboratory became a model for other psychology laboratories. Wundt developed measures to analyze the mind in objective ways. this gave rise to the use of carefully structured environment to conduct studies in psychology which was later used by behaviorists.
