Continuous change organization development (OD) interventions
extends the transformational changes into non stop process of
strategizing , designing and implementing. Instead of focusing on
specific organization strategy and design , Continuous change
address the underlying design and structure for implement new forms
of competitive advantage.
Dynamic Strategy Making:
It uses the process "Guided involvement" in order to help the
company to implement proper strategic system.
The strategic direction have the elements such as
Competitive logic: it is the value proposition which connects the
organizations ability with market opportunities.
Goals: These are target of firm's achievements, it may be financial
or single rallying aims.
Organization: The formal organizational design which align, work,
structure, HR practices & management processes to the goals and
competitive logic.
Action plans: These are the initiatives & some steps needed to
implement the strategies.
The dynamic strategy making will address content of the strategy
formulation along with process of strategy implementation.
Self designing organization
Systematic changes in the organization process alters many features
in the organization. Self designing organization has the ability to
alter themselves fundamentally and continuously. Implementing them
is the most participative process where many stakeholders included
in the process to set the strategic direction, designing of proper
structure & process and implementing them. This process
includes considerable innovations & learning as company's gain
the capacity to design & implement the major changes
continuously.
Learning organizations:
The Learning organization describes the organization with ideal
learning environment, which is perfectly tuned with the
organizations objective. Here the individuals are continuously
expand their capacity in order to create the result which they
actually desires, where expansive and new pattern of thinking are
developed, where the combined aspirations are set as free. This is
different from individual learning, it helps the company to move
beyond the current issues to gain the capacity of continuous
improvement. It will result in the development of learning
organization where empowered team members will take the
responsibility of changing organization and learns to do the things
better and even better.
Built to change organization:
It includes strategizing the design elements, process &
managerial practices which support the organizational change as the
primary driver of the effectiveness. This will helps to provide
design and implementation guidelines for developing the change
capabilities in to the processes, structures and behavior of the
firm so that it can simultaneously respond to the rapidly change in
environment.
