ANS- Marketing is a vast field and if you have a degree in marketing and you love marketing then there are various roles and various companies in which you can get hired. Some of the job titles in marketing are as follows

  • Business Development Manager
  • Area Sales Manager
  • Territory Sales Incharge
  • Product Development Manager
  • Sales officer
  • MarketIng Manager
  • Advertising Manager
  • Social Media Manager
  • Personal Banker

Salary depends on qualification, experience in the similar field and the company which is hiring. For e.g salary for a fresh graduate for the position of sales officer may range from $140-$145 per month. Some reputed companies recruit by on campus placement and for this they visit various colleges which offer higher degree course may be an MBA and so those students get a higher amount, again that too depends on the type of B- school because premier B-schools have higher salaries as compared to general institutions. Salary of premier B-school ranges from $753-$1070 per month and those passing from general B-schools get around $350-$450 per month.

Hiring Firms

Every company whether small or big requires marketing so there are endless number of companies which hire for the above roles. However some roles are specified for some company. For e.g Personal Banker is required in a bank only. So the top firms are Deloite, Accenture, Dell, Infosys, Sears holding corp., Dex one, JP Morgan Chase, Brook Dale senior living, Amazon, Samsung.

Social media has influenced us in many different ways through you tube, facebook, pinterest, instagram, twitter, linkedin. With the advancement in technology almost every company prefers to keep a person who can maintain their social media. Because a word spreads faster in social media than through word of mouth or through paper. We all use internet all the time so we get to know about a company's product very easily and with detailed specifications.

Job in Mobile Marketing

Mobile Marketing Manager falls under the category of mobile marketing and his/her main responsibilities include working through smartphones like giving texts about the company product, managing the company app if any which is on mobile phone, maintaining relationship with mobile ad networks, they will also be responsible for mobile website including A/B testing to ensure high conversions.
