Answer #1

Difference between Function and Formula in Excel::->

Function :--> Functions are predefined formula in excel. Each function has a name followed by a parenthesis , In () we pass the arguments.

the general form of function in excel is

= function_name(arument1, argument2,....., argument_n)

Note:--> function should start with an equal sign.

for example :--> = sum(A1:A10)

This function returns the sum of values present in from cell A1 to Cell A10

A1:A10 -> is the range which includes all the cells from cell A1 to cell Cell A10

Formula: Formula is a mathematical equation in excel. the formula must start with an equal sign. for example, if want to find the summation of values from cell A1 to cell A10 without using a function, We can do

= A1+A2+A3+A4+A5+A6+A7+A8+A9+A10

will result in a summation of values from cell A1 to cell A10

//Thanks ............. if you need any help regarding this solution ............ please leave a comment ........... thanks..
