When you leave a cold bottle of soda out on a warm humid day, water begins to condense on the surface of the bottle. Describe what is happening in terms of energy change

When the water vapour present in the atmosphere comes in contact with the something cool, the vapour molecules starts coming closer to each other. This allows them to condense from the vapour state to liquid state which forms the droplets on the surface of the bottle. The water vapour having higher energy will give away the energy to give liquid water which has lower energy The condensation process is exothermic
