Answer #1

“Everyone is a winner“ strategy has both positive and negative aspect with respect to a child’s development. However I would like to highlight more on the positive side and less on the negative side. From a positive view, this strategy will not create any sort of distress or stress on the child. Child will always be happy and will participate in all events available due to the precious reward system. It is a boost or motivation for participation as well. It is the first step to be taken with respect go a child who is expected to grow and live in a competitive world in the future. The downside is the mentality that “ I will always be rewarded for anything I do”. This mentality if not taken care can create severe psycological damage to child’s development with advancement of age. Child will not become strong enough to face failures and shall even thinking of ending life on the mere fact of tasting failure.
