Answer #1

This experiment involves the study of the bacteria present in the nose, cell phone and the unknown that we have to guess its bacteria type with the previous two sites.

So, the bacteria that were present in the nose will form the microflora of the internal environment whereas, the bacteria present on the cell phone will form the microflora of the external environment. The bacteria that are present in the unknown site are compared with both the microflora of the nose and the cellphone and it is observed if the microflora of the unknown site is more like the external (cell phone) or the internal environment (nose).

If the microflora of the unknown site is more like the external environment (cell phone), then it indicates that the site of bacterial isolation is from the environment. If the microflora of the unknown site is more like the internal environment (nose), then it indicates that the site of bacterial isolation is from inside the body itself.

Hope it helps, Good luck !!!!!

A research biologist has carried out an experiment on a random sample of 15 experimental plots in a field. Following the collection of data, a test of significance was conducted under appropriate null and alternative hypotheses and the P-value was determined to be approximately .03. This indicates that: there is a .03 chance that the null hypothesis is true. if the null hypothesis were true, there is only a .03 chance of seeing this data. the probability of being wrong...

    7. A solid sample X contains zinc and silver only. An experiment was carried out to determine the percentage by mass of zinc in the sample X. 1.80 g of the sample X was dissolved in 40.0 cm of 1.50 M hydrochloric acid. The excess acid required 13.60 cm of 1.00 M sodium hydroxide solution for complete neutralization. (a) Write an equation for the reaction between the sample X and HCl(aq).
