Please HELP and explain these two questions

1. A ball is rolled across a floor so that it collides with a wall and bounces off, back toward the person who had started to roll the ball, at the same speed it had been traveling before it hit the wall. Does the velocity of the ball change during this process? Explain.

2. A car that just starting up from a red light has zero velocity at the instant it starts.  Must the acceleration of the car also be zero at this instant?  Explain.
