the area under the standard normal curve between z = −0.43 and z = 1.37

=> P(-0.43 < Z < 1.37)

=> P(Z < 1.37) - P(Z < -0.43)

=> P(Z < 1.37) - (1-P(Z < 0.43))

=> 0.9147 - (1-0.6664)

=> 0.9147 - 0.3336

=> 0.5811

note: z values from standard normal distribution table
