2.Inhibitor is a protein molecule or a non-protein molecule that binds to enzyme or a bio molecule and decreases it's activity.there are both reversible and irreversible inhibition of the substrate depending on the kind of inhibitor in use.

Inhibitor should be resembling the 3-D binding site of the substrate binding site to the enzymes, by using the NMR spectroscopy or X-ray crystallography

The technology currently available has not been able to make a drug designed to attach the transition state and the product because of the incomplete understanding of the diseases molecular metabolic process Which scientists are willing to treat.so in future we there is a possibility of using inhibitor against the transition state and product but right now the only SUBSTRATE is used as a target in the drug designing .
