Answer #1

For question 16, correct answers are B, D and E.

Chitin and proteins are major components of the exoskeleton of arthropods and not the endoskeleton of the arthropods. They can act as a waterproof barrier and also as a support for an arthropod. Arthropods are invertebrates and most invertebrates lack an endoskeleton.

Organisms in the phylum Insects are animals, at multicellular, have tissues e.g. straighten muscle tissues adapter for movement. They have an open circulatory system, have a hard exoskeleton and joints appendages for movement. Arthropods have an open circulatory system where there are no blood vessels but blood flow in openly through the body cavity.

The first triploblastic animal phylum is Phylum ____________. Mollusca Nematoda Rotifera Platyhelminthes The nontaxonomic term sea slug encompasses a wide variety of marine gastropods. One feature they share as adults is the lack of a shell. We might think, therefore, that they represent defenseless morsels for predators. In fact, sea slugs have multiple defenses. Some sea slugs prey on sponges and concentrate sponge toxins in their tissues. Others feed on cnidarians, digesting everything except the nematocysts, which they then transfer...
