The balanced reaction between Na2CO3 and HNO3 is

From, balanced reaction it is observed that, Na2CO3 and HNO3reacts in 1:2 ratio.

ie

Given:-

Now, calculate Moles of HNO3

Now, calculate moles of Na2CO3 from moles of HNO3

From eq(1) we get,

  

Therfore,

Hence, moles of Na2CO3 = 0.001836 mol.

Now calculate volume of Na2CO3

  

Therefore, 16.39 milliliters of 0.112 M Na2CO3 will required to completely react with 27.2 mL of 0.135 M of HNO3.
