You are a sales manager at a lumber company and a long term customer of yours...

You are a sales manager at a lumber company and a long term customer of yours tells you that a competitor company has offered his family a trip to Walt Disney World for him to but his next shipment of lumber at their company. How would you handle this?

As a sales manager i would not let that my company loss his long term customer.

But on the other hand i may not provide him the same offer which my competitor company has given, as my company has certain budget and regulations.

But to keep the customer at my side i can provide him with some incentives in the form of discounts and offers and i would convince the customer to have the deal with me only.
