Phases of traditional system life cycle:
(1) Feasibility study - the first phase deals with feasibility study. in this the present system and its environment is looked up for.this also includes the study of economic feasibility, technical feasibility and technical feasibility.
(2) System investigation - the system investigation aims at detailing the facts such as functional requirements, and the problems that are related with the present working methods in the organization.
(3) System analysis - after the finding the problems or defects in the working methods, an analysis will be done for finding the reasons for the defects and and also indicates the ways or solutions for improving them by developing a new system.
(4) Implementation - it deals with the process of putting a system operation in an organization. it involves planning, providing training about the new system, and acceptance testing.
(5) Review and maintenance.- after implementing and testing the system, the system will then be reviewed, and ensures the effective of the system. and when the system will be replaced when it is no longer appropriate to operate.
