(a). A dihydrogen bond is a kind of hydrogen bond. It is an interaction between a metal hydride bond and an OH or NH group or other proton donor.In it hydrogen of metal possess partial negative charge while the hydrogen of proton donor possess positive charge. Hence the interaction between these opposite charges are called dihydrogen bond. It is actually not a bond but only a interaction between two different type of hydrogen atoms.
