Answer #1

ANSWER:--

GIVEN THAT:--

  • Yes software developers who work on critical applications must be licensed. Without proper licensing anyone who just has basic knowledge can get into the job which might result in improper planning and finishing .

  • This results in failure of the application which might be the reason for great damage.

  • For example if we consider self driving cars they need to be developed with much care and expertise because they will me operating on roads in traffics and on highways.

  • If any fault arises in the application like brake failure it leads to great loss .

In order to avoid such problems people who are given the job of developing such software must be examined and tested and only then they need to be given permission to handle such responsible positions .

  • Hence software developers who work on critical applications must be required to have a license and it also needs to be issued by certified authorities .
