Given that the largest settlements over the past decade under the False Claims Act have been against large companies engaged in healthcare, why do you think that healthcare companies continue to be accused and convicted of huge False Claims Act violations?

I my opinion, the healthcare companies are continued to be accused and convicted of huge False Claims Act violations because the healthcare companies inflate the bill and then provide to the government for either the services that they have not provided or overcharged the cost of the materials. There are scenarios like charging more for skilled professionals who did not even deliver or perform any healthcare-related work.
