1. Progressive production is a term that is used to describe the continuous product or continuos flow production where the production is happening continuously on a linear line where the operations are done on the object as we move further towards the production of the object. It is because of the nature of the production that is used it is called progressive production because it progresses in production step by step as we move further on the production line.
   
2. Assembly line originated while building Ford's Model T in the year 1993, October 7th. It was for the production of Ford's Model T the assembly line method was fist used and then it went on to become widely accepted practice worldwide.
   
3. The four items that are made on the assembly line are as follows,
   - Cars
   - Satellites
   - Footballs
   - Pencils/Pens
   These are the items that are generally manufactured on an assembly line.
   
4. Henry Ford's goal of coming up with the assembly line was to reduce the time it takes to manufacture one car. Earlier to the assembly line it took 12 hours to manufacture one car and this time reduced to 2 hours and 30 minutes after using the assembly line. Hence, this was the main objective of Henry Ford in using an assembly line that is to reduce the time taken to manufacture the car.
