As Incident report is the report that can be defined as the written explanation of an incident that is been observed during the testing session of any software. As incident can be any incident that as some of the reasons are been listed below

• Human mistake.
• Missing or Obscure documented requirement.
• Environment issue such as no response from back-end server causing intermittent unexpected behavior or error

As the incident report is very important in testing phase as the incident reports tells all to the company that where their software is been lagging and how can they work on that to resolve it and on the same side the Metrics also performed very vital role in the testing phase as these metrics do accurately tells the status of the software project processes and products. and the advantages through this are been listed below
