  1. In your opinion, did anyone "win" the Cold War? If no, why? If yes, who won and why did they win? When was the world a more safer time, during the Cold War or today in 2019?

Cold war was between The US and The USSR post world war 2. There was no one who could actually claim to have 'won' this cold war. The coldness and enimity was increased between these two countries. America was under threat that Russia might become a world power. But post this cold war, both the countries stopped the use of their respective nuclear weapons.

I believe the world was more safer during cold war than today. As there is more tension today among the countries. Everyone have grown and upgraded themselves in arms n ammunition. The then powerful country is now even more powerful with heavy ammunition. The tension is increasing among the countries as which country has heavy weapons is unknown. A war may break anytime today, such is the situation.
