1)economy - droughts affect east african economy badly as there is no food security,no natural source for electric generation,crop failure and many more. economy is depend on geographical conditions too, also due to lack of food source many people don't even have basic education, these are main causes of economy failure in east africa due to droughts
2)agriculture - agriculture need water,droughts ruined out whole water in ground, so there is no water facility for agriculture.crop failure is happen mostly in this region only due to lack of water.the agriclture of africa contribute 30% of GDP and 70% of work force but now this sector suffer severly due to reduced productivity.
3)environment - droughts bring drastic changes in biodiversity of east africa,lot of plant species are becoming extinct. droughts result extention of thar desert to east africa as these lands are dry and hot. pollution is greatest threat here in these countries as there is no proper disposal processes. many hnative species are migrated , this result bad impact on environment.
4) humans - humans in these ares are migrated and left bare fields.in some countries due to lack of water sources , diseases are spreading to great distances.infections and virus are mostly spread in these ares.no food for many people and hunger deaths are becoming common.
5) water sources - droughts left all streams and lakes as dry arid regions. people in these areas are least accessable to water and they are digging miles into ground to get ground water. they are using same water again and again like washing cloths with same water of utility water and reusing it. limited resources of water from some lakes.
