The benefits of the MVPD are as follows:

1. They provide us all the channel we require and that too in the minimum cost because of the competition within themselves.
2. They handle all the technical problems at their end and we do not have to focus on the technical glitches all around.
3. The number of viewers is huge and hence, there will be no problem and the features like
   1. Availability
   2. Consistency
   3. Reliability
   4. Scalability is been served in the doorstep.

Hence, these are the benefits of MVPD.

Risks of MVPD:

The risks that lie in the MVPD are as follows:

• The proliferation of the programs by the existing program owners can lead to the creation of the more diverse programming issues.
• The consumer privacy can be put at risk at any times without even consenting with the customer.

Hence, these are some of the risks in MVPD.

Do you think there should be more or less regulation in the cable television market, why or why not?

• No, there must be no regulation in the cable television as they are doing good until and unless the current privacy law is been intrigued by them.
• The laws for the MVPD distributors is good as of now and there must be no changes further so that people can use the MVPD freely and without any glitches from the distributors.

Hence, this is the reason why I think there must be no more regulation in the cable television market.
