Identify which solutions yielded a positive result for Barfoed's test (brick-red precipitate) Indicate what the positive result means and whether the obtained results were expected 3. If you were given three unlabeled samples of glucose, maltose, and lactose, how could you use the results from this lab to identify each unknown? Support your answer with observations from both tests- glucose strips and Barfoed's test 4. Maltase is another enzyme that functions with similar specificity to maltose as lactase does to lactose. Would the results for your five solutions be the same if we used a maltase pill instead of lactase? Would you expect the same levels of glucose after a maltase pill addition?
