Skeletal muscles _ major component is water ,potassium ,sodium,calcium, phosphorous,magnesium.they store glycogen and have oxygen carrying myoglobin or muscle haemoglobin.also contain ATP,phosphorous ,creatine and urea.

These contain muscle bundles or fascicles. Each bundle contains a number of muscle fibres( muscle cells). Surrounded by plasma membrane called sarcoma enclosing sarcomas.. muscle fibres is syncitium as the sarcomas. Contains nuclei. Sarcoplasmic reticulum store calcium irons.. dark and light bands also called A and I bands center H zone and contraction and relaxation takes place between these of a and I bands .

Smooth muscle_ there is no sarcolemma and enclosed by plasma membrane.action of these muscle is controlled by autonomic nervous system and hence they are not under the control of the animals will.

Cardiac muscle_ the interrelated disc function as boosters of contraction wave and permit the wave of muscle contraction to be transmitted from one cardiac fibre to another .they are present in the wall of the heart and in the wall of large veins

They differ in their movement

Some will show ciliate and flegellar and muscular and ameoboid movement .
