Exploratory research is research that is conducted to game ideas and insights to help define the problem or opportunities confronting a manager. Exploratory research is mainly for ideas to be more clearly defined. Exploratory research problems do not lead to conclusive answers. Exploratory research is not designed to come up with the final answer or decision. Exploratory research is better known as having a better idea on what you are researching.
