Ans :

The oxygen binding curves of hemoglobin and myoglobin represent their affinity for binding with oxygen molecules. The hemoglobin's oxygen binding curve is sigmoidal in shaoe since it has less affinity for oxygen molecules but for the myoglobin the oxygen binding curve is hyperbolic curve since it has higher affinity for oxygen molecules.

This is because as the pressure drops , the affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen molecules decreases but myoglobin affinity for oxygen does not reduce greatly , its affinity is still maintained and hence the hemoglobin leave oxygen molecules quicker and become better transporter for oxygen .
