The address range of 24LC256 is found as follows from the datasheet. The 24LC256 has 256 Kbit/8 = 32 Kbyte of storage, so the address range is 0x0000-0x7FFF. It has a page write buffer of 64 bytes size  that means the individual page addresses are range from 0x0000 to 0x003F, 0x0040-0x007F, etc.

Each page contains 64 Bytes locations and address range 0x0000-0x003F.

Each page start address is the multiple of 64.

It is given that 0x244F = 9295 in decimal.

It is divided by 64 gives the page number = 9295/64 = 145.234375

It means that the given address is in the page number 146 page starting from 1st page.

Address range of 146 th page is = 0x2440 - 0x247F.
