If the time for reaching a steady value is very long, what effect might this have on the measured stopping voltage values? (Photoelectric Effect Lab) Need better answer that has more explanation than other posts. Thank you!

the time required to reach the steady state value will be very long but a state which will be almost steady will be achieved in definite small time, i.e the change due the ever changing state will be very low, infinitesimal after some time. So, almost no change in the stopping potential.
