I am working on a lab assignment for a conical pendulum lab where we put a mass on a string and rotated it around 4 different radius....a I performed the experiment in class with the numbers provided on the graph paper and looking to see if I am on the right track...I have a few questions.
1. what would the free body diagram look like
2. what is the relationship of tension and radius
3. does the graph look like it is a accurate representation?

For each radius trial, construct a Free Body Diagram. Some of the Force of Tension pro- vides the centripetal acceleration for the sphere to continue it moving in a circle. Find that Force of Tension and the angle at which it must be applied for the radius specified Enter this data in Excel or Google Sheets. Graph a scatter plot of Tension vs Radius for your four data points, with Radius as your x-variable and Tension your y. Consider why Next right click on one of your data points and select "Format Trendline". Do both linear fit and power law fit. Judge for yourself which one fits better, then recognize what the units for your constants must be. Determine then through data what the relationship between Tension and Radius for this particular experimental setup is. Find a ratship for of te motion it undergoes. Identify any numbers in your relationship aud what measurements they represent, as well as identify any symbols in your relationship and what they represent
