Answer #1

Oral exposure is a term used to describe the toxicity of a biological or chemical agent to an organism after ingestion. The chemicals are mostly insecticides or pesticides.

The two molecules could be -chlordane and Endosulphan

a] Chlordane -- C10H6Cl8

Chlordane is a chlorinated hydrocarbon, actually a complex mixture of isomers, other chlorinated hydrocarbons and by products. It is highly toxic by ingestion.

b] Endosulfan - C9H6Cl6O3S

It is a product of oxidation containing one extra O atom attached to the S atom. It is a derivative of hexa-chloro-cyclopentadiene. The teravalent sulfur undergoes pyramidal stereochemistry and the compound is highly toxic.

I only need answer to 4 4- Which is stronger - the bond between water molecules or the bond between the two amino acids (formed from the dehydration synthesis above)? Explain why? (2pt) Imagine a biochemistry lab is testing out a new procedure to improve the synthesis of a dipeptide molecule made with the amino acids Valine and Threonine. The hypothesis is that acid as a catalyst will improve the condensation reaction between the amino acids and create a greater...

ich has the highest energy? 7. a) Depending upon the kind of models you are using, you may or may not be able to construct models of cyclopropane and cyclobutane. Do so, if possible, but do not break the linkages. Why do we say that these molecules are strained? What is the normal sp3 bond angle? What are the (internal) C-C-C bond angles in cyclopropane? b) Make a model of cyclopentane. Does this molecule seem to have any ring strain...
